Draining Your Overflowing Pool

When there is excessive rain, your pool can become overfilled, and it is crucial to drain the pool as soon as possible. It is recommended that the water level should be maintained at half of the waterline tile.

Draining your pool is a simple process that can be done by following a few steps. First, locate the spigot on the equipment near the pump. Then, connect a hose to the spigot and direct the hose in the direction of the road or your drainage system. With the pump running, open the spigot and allow the water to drain until the water level is half of the waterline tile.

It is important to note that you should not walk away while draining the pool. Keep an eye on the pool to ensure that the water level is decreasing as expected. Once the water level is at the desired level, close off the spigot and remove the hose. By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your pool stays at the appropriate water level and avoid any potential damage caused by an overfilled pool.
